Pensioners’ association to publish short biographies

Dibrugarh, June 28: In a press communiqué, Phatik Chandra Borah, the secretary of the Dibrugarh branch of Government Pensioner’s Association, Assam, stated that the GPAA, formed on January 17, 1957, had completed 60 years of its existence in 2017, and that the diamond jubilee of the same was celebrated by all branches in the State with various programmes. In pursuance of the call of the State Executive Committee, Dibrugarh Branch Committee of GPAA, has taken up an innovative programme of publishing a collection of life-sketches and short biographies of all members, both living and expired. On the occasion, the organizing committee has prepared a bio-data for collection of all vital information related to the life of each member and it has appealed to all members to collect the bio-data from the office of GPAA, Dibrugarh Branch, Jiban Phukan Nagar, and also to submit the duly filled up form in the office itself before July 31.
