People of Assam will bring AIUDF to power: Ajmal

RANGIA, Jan 18: The people of Assam will elect AIUDF candidates and bring the AIUDF to power this time, said AIUDF chief and MP of Dhubri, Maula Badaruddin Ajmal  on Monday at a rally held at Khandikar playground under Rangia constituency. The rally presided over by Paresh Baishya, president of the Rangia district unit.   He criticized the BJP and Congress as ‘anti-minority’. According to him, Congress and BJP were two sides of the same coin. Ajmal also slammed Chief Minister Tarun Gogoi and Prime Minister rendra Modi for allegedly doing nothing for the people of Assam. Ajmal said that AIUDF would not form any alliance with the Congress for the upcoming assembly polls. He also announced that if the AIUDF came to power, the problem of illegal immigrants would be solved and no land would be allotted to Bangladesh. Selimuddin Borbhuyan, former MLA, Aminul Islam and Derajuddin Ahmed also addressed the rally. Earlier a memorandum for the development of Rangia constituency was submitted to the AIUDF chief by the president of the Rangia district unit.
