People’s forum flays killings, calls for peace : The Tirap-Changlang & Longding People’s Forum

ITANAGAR, July 18: The Tirap-Changlang & Longding People’s Forum has condemned the killing of two unarmed NSCN (IM) operatives at Senua Noksa village of Longding district on July 12 last, and requested the Assam Rifles personnel to maintain peace and tranquility in the region. Describing the killings as ‘cold blooded murder’, the Forum said, “If such kind of killing/murder continues between NSCN and AR, it will destroy the peace process initiated by the government of India and NSCN (IM).” Such incidents create tension among the peace loving people and disturb peace and development in the TCL region, it said.
