Hamilton, March 10: Left-handed batsman Kusal Perera replaced the injured Dinesh Chandimal in Sri Lanka’s squad for the World Cup. The Event Technical Committee of the World Cup approved the change on Tuesday after Chandimal’s hamstring injury which he suffered during the Pool A match against Australia in Sydney on Sunday. He has been ruled out of the tourment. Perera has played 41 One-Day Intertiols (ODI) in which he has scored 839 runs with one century and four half-centuries. His last match was against England in Pallekele in December 2014. IANS
