Petrol bomb attack

Shillong, July 10: Unknown miscreants on Tuesday morning attacked the office of the Meghalaya Public Service Commission (MPSC) building at Lower Lachaumiere in the city with a petrol bomb. According to witnesses, two persons were seen coming out of the building soon after the petrol bomb was lobbed but police are yet to ascertain whether the two unidentified persons were behind the attack. According to police sources, the office chamber of MPSC secretary, Wanrilin AM Booth was the target of the attackers. Officials said that official documents, computer and sofas were damaged in the attack.
