KOKRAJHAR/BONGAIGAON, Oct 16: In accordance with the Registration of Electors’ Rules, 1960, the photo electoral rolls of 31- Sidli (ST) LAC were published in the conference hall of the DC’s office here on Monday. During the publication, the Electoral Registration Officer, 31- Sidli (ST) LAC, Ratul Baruah informed that the rolls had been made available for inspection at the office of the Deputy Commissioner, Circle Officers of Sidli and Bengtal, Block Development Officer of Sidli, OC of Sidli, Bengtal, Runikhata, Amguri, Basugaon and Dhaligaon during office hours. If with reference to the qualifying date, January 1, 2018, for publication of electoral rolls, there be any claim for the inclusion of a me in the roll or any objection to the inclusion of me or any objection to particulars in any entry, it should be lodged on or before November 15, 2017 in forms 6, 7, 8 and 8A as may be appropriate. Further, he stated that any such claims or objections should either be presented in his office at Kajalgaon or to the desigted officers of the respective polling stations or sent by post to the Electoral Registration Officer, 31- Sidli (ST) LAC at the Office of the Deputy Commissioner, Chirang, Kajalgaon. It may be mentioned here that currently in 31-Sidli (ST) LAC, there are total 269 polling stations and total 1, 91,329 electors with 95,603 male, 95,725 female and lone third gender.
