Plea to support Shillong lad in Asia Got Talent

SHILLONG, April 28: Business tycoon Honsen Lyngdoh has appealed to the people of Meghalaya and Northeast as a whole to give their support by voting for the young lad from Shillong Toshanbor Nongbet who is going to participate in the semifil of the reality TV show Asia Got Talent on April 30.  

It may be mentioned that Toshanbor Nongbet was declared 4th runner up in 2012 in the reality TV show India’s Got Talent. He is now making waves in Asia Got Talent 2015 reaching the semifil round III of the competition which will be aired on April 30. He is representing India.

Addressing reporters at a press conference here on Tuesday, H. Lyngdoh said, “I appeal to each and everyone from Northeast and people from across the country to come out in support of Toshanbor Nongbet so that he can bring laurels not just to the Northeast but also to the country.”

 “We are a State which is blessed with talents and we need to showcase it,” he said adding that each and everyone has their own unique talent but they don’t use it.

 He also express his gratitude toward Shillong Chamber Choir who paved the way for many more youths from the state to step up and express their talents on some of the biggest stages of our country and the world.

“We have many talented youths in the State but they don’t get enough praise or support from our very own people”, adding that if there is no support from our own people then there will be no room for others who aspire to show case their talents and bring honor to the State of Meghalaya.
