After making the biopic of the former Prime Minister Manmohan Singh's life in the workplace on the massive screen The Accidental Prime Minister, another biopic on Prime Minister Narendra Modi has been announced. Starring Vivek Oberoi within the lead, the film is being directed by Omung Kumar and it will be produced by Sandip Singh. Earlier, many reports claimed the announcement however nothing was official.

Film critic Taran Adarsh announced the news on Twitter in an exceedingly post saying, "IT’S OFFICIAL... Vivekanand Oberoi [Vivek Oberoi] to star in Narendra Modi biopic, titled #PMNarendraModi... Directed by Omung Kumar... Produced by Sandip Singh... First look poster will be launched on 7 Jan 2019... Filming starts mid-Jan 2019." The movie is set to go on floors around mid-January, however, a release date hasn't been finalized yet.

A few days ago, a media report has published that the Saathiya actor would be exploitation his full name - Vivekanand Oberoi within the credits for the movie. The project, as per the sources, is to be shot extensively across totally different part of the country - from Modi's hometown in Gujarat to Delhi, Uttarakhand and Himachal Pradesh.
