PM Narendra Modi hails rowing performance

New Delhi, Aug 24: Prime Minister Narendra Modi hailed the Indian rowing team’s performance as “stupendous” at the Asian Games.

“Congratulations to the team of Rohit Kumar and Bhagwan Singh for winning the Bronze in the men’s Lightweight Doubles Sculls at the @asiangames2018. Their stupendous performance has made the entire country extremely happy,” Modi said in a tweet.

Sports Minister Rajyavardhan Rathore tweeted: “What a splendid team performance from Rohit Kumar and Bhagwan Singh to bag a bronze in Men’s Lightweight Doubles Sculls at #AsianGames2018! I congratulate them for their great performance.” IANS
