Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana (PMAY) beneficiaries in Gohpur

GOHPUR, July 13: 587 beneficiaries have been selected in the first phase under Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana (PMAY) scheme for urban areas for Gohpur subdivision. In this context, a meeting was organized by Biswanath district administration and Gohpur Town Committee at Gohpur on Thursday. Gohpur MLA Utpal Borah, SDO Civil-cum-Additional Deputy commissioner of Biswanath Indranoshee Das, Leena Saikia Borah chairperson of Gohpur Town Committee were present at the PMAY(U) card distribution meeting. “This is a scheme of the Government of India to provide 20 million houses to the urban poor by March 31, 2022,” MLA Utpal Borah said.
