PM's effigy burnt

MARGHERITA, May 26: Activists of Asam Jatiyatabadi Yuba Chatra Parishad (AJYCP) Ledo Branch Committee under Margherita Subdivision burnt the effigy of Prime Minister rendra Modi at Ledo NH 38 on Tuesday. Rohan Sen and Arjun Dey, president and secretary respectively of AJYCP Ledo Branch Committee along with 50 activists were present during the protest. Rohan Sen said that Prime Minister rendra Modi’s Achhe Din had never come and instead the prices of petrol and diesel had increased. He alleged that PDS commodities like kerosene had gone into the hands of black marketers. If things did not improve then AJYCP would be compelled to resort to agitation, said Arjun Dey.
