Police caution against fraudsters

SHILLONG, Dec 1: Police in the state today cautioned the public against a “fraud company” which has targeted the youths of the Northeast. According to police, a fake company-CS Ltd whose corporate address is Udham Singh gar, Dehradun, Uttarakhand has advertised more than 7000 vacancies in its website http://csindia.in. “To maintain their credibility the company has put up some Gazette Notifications which are not in existence. It claims to have a number of overseas offices and even has uploaded pictures of the Prime Minister in its website,” East Khasi Hills Superintendent of Police (Crime), Vivek Syiem said. Syiem also said that the company claims to be registered under the Public Sector Undertaking Act (PSU) Government of India.
