Police recovers 7.65 mm pistol at Fulertal

Silchar, March 7: A 7.65 mm pistol was recovered from Michael Bhanglaluth (27), a resident of Faizul Phunji under Thanglong police station in Manipur, at Fulertal last night. The police team led by ba Kumar Bora, officer in-charge, Lakhipur police station, took him into custody. This morning Michael Bhanglaluth was taken to the sub divisiol magistrate, Lakhipur. The police, after being directed by court, have kept him in 5 days remand. They are interrogating him to gather further information about the possession of pistol and his purpose behind visiting Silchar.
