Poster campaign against drug abuse

GAURISAGAR, June 27: Gaurisagar Police Station on Tuesday evening took out a poster campaign in association with local people on the eve of International Day against Drug Abuse and Illicit Trafficking at the premises of Gaurisagar ASTC bus stand. Dadu Bora, officer in-charge of Gaurisagar PS, said that drugs not only had ill effects on the users but also their families. Later, the police personnel of Gaurisagar PS, led by Dadu Bora, and local people of Gaurisagar pasted posters highlighting the ill effects of drug abuse in various public places and vehicles.

On the other hand, an awareness meeting was held at the Dikhowmukh College auditorium on the outskirts of Gaurisagar by Gaurisagar Police Station in association with the college IQAC recently.
