Prerona Day observed

GOLAGHAT, May 18: The Golaghat Regional Students’ Union in association with Golaghat Regional Karmachari Parishad observed Prerona Day on Friday in order to inspire the employees involved in NRC update process.

In a press release, president and secretary of Golaghat Regional Students’ Union Angsuman Baruah and Biswajit Gogoi said that behind a fair NRC there would be hard and sincere labour of employees who have been deployed to conduct NRC works. On this special day, the observance of Prerona Day began with the lightening of earthen lamp before Swahid Bedi. A delegation of the organization visited various NRC Seva Kendras and interacted with the employees. They appreciated the employees on NRC update duty for their effort in preparing a fair NRC.
