President Shehbaz Sharif To Sue UK Daily

Islamabad: Shehbaz Sharif, the President of the opposition Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N), said that he has “decided to file a law suit against Daily Mail” newspaper after the British tabloid published an investigative report allegedly revealing that he and his family were involved in money-laundering in the UK.

“Have decided to file law suit against Daily Mail. The fabricated and misleading story was published at the behest of (Pakistan Prime Minister) Imran Khan and Shahzad Akbar,” Sharif posted on Twitter on Sunday. “We will also launch legal proceedings against them.’’ (IANS)
