Prime Minister Narendra Modi Turns 68 Today!

India Prime Minister Narendra Modi turns 68 on Monday and with this, the PM chooses to celebrate his birthday in his Lok Sabha constituency, Varanasi. There will be children from different schools to join the prime minister in his birthday celebrations.

However, the morning on his birthday will be spent amidst the official duties and responsibilities in his New Delhi office and it is only in the afternoon on Monday that the PM will fly to Varanasi. The preparations, on the other hand, are in full swing for celebrating the big day of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) strongman. Reports say that a record-breaking number of 68 cakes are to be cut by the PM on the occasion of his 68th birthday.

On reaching Varanasi, the Prime Minister is also scheduled to visit Jayapur, Nagepur and Kakrahia. Notably, these are a few of the villages adopted by PM Modi. furthermore, a film which is based on the life of Narendra Modi will also be screened during the event. The PM will spend the night in the city and will head to visit the Banaras Hindu University the next day.

Notable polical leaders, celebrities, international politicians and different people from different parts of the world have chosen various means to congratulate the PM on his birthday. India President Ram Nath Kovind opted for the microblogging site Twitter to shower his greetings on the Indian Prime Minister.
