Privilege Motion Moved Against Rahul Gandhi

New Delhi: On Friday, the BJP party said that there will be a Privilege Motion against the Congress chief Rahul Gandhi for his remarks on PM Narendra Modi during his speech on the no-confidence motion in Lok Sabha.

Attacking BJP and the PM, Rahul Gandhi asked questions about the Rafale aircraft deal. He claimed that he was told by the French President, Emmanuel Macron, that France had no pact regarding the prices of jets with India. He said that the PM is a “Bhagidaar” and not a “Chowkidaar”.

He also claimed that the victim of “Jumla strikes” was India and that the PM has lost his touch with the wishes of the common people of the nation. “Who are victims of the Jumla strike? Dalits, tribal, women, youth,” Gandhi, said.

The rising issue of unemployment was also blamed on the Modi govt. by the Congress chief. He claimed that the BJP national president, Amit Shah and Modi were two very different kind of politicians. However, both the parties cannot simply afford to lose power because they know that if they do then other processes will start against them.

By the end of his speech, Gandhi walked up to Modi and embraced him. His action was applauded by the opposition party. Ananth Kumar, Parliamentary affairs minister had bought up questions regarding the Congress leader’s speech stating that it violated the rules of the assembly proceedings.
