Priya clinches maiden women title

GUWAHATI, July 31: Priya Kalita of Assam clinched her first ever Women title in the AITA Women Tennis tourment held at New Delhi today. In the fil she defeated Teertha Ishka of Andhra Pradesh in straight set 6-2,6-3. She is a trainee of North East Tennis Foundation and studying at Gurukul Senior Secondary School, Guwahati. Meanwhile Chandrasekhar Mohanty pairing with Jagdish Tanwar of Jaipur bagged the double crown in the 50th All India Men Ranking Tennis tourment that concluded in New Delhi today.
