Pro-talk ULFA Leaders freed from Guwahati Central Jail on Bail

Guwahati: Pro-talk ULFA leaders Jiten Dutta and Mrinal Hazarika on Friday finally freed from the Central Jail in Guwahati today after 14 days.

The Court of Chief Judicial Magistrate (CJM), Kamrup (M) on Thursday accepted the bail pleas of the pro-talk ULFA leaders.

On November 2, 2018, both the pro-talk ULFA leaders were arrested for their alleged inflammatory and hate statements concerning the proposed Citizenship (Amendment) Bill, 2016.

Meanwhile, after coming out of the Central Jail both pro-talk ULFA leaders told before the media, “We will continue to fight against the Citizenship (Amendment) Bill, 2016." On the other hand, several supporters cheered them up chanting slogans ‘Joi Aai Axom’.
