Procession taken out on World AIDS Day

DEMOW, December 1: Along with the rest of the world, on Thursday World AIDS Day was observed by Bhagya Lakshmi Anchalik Sishu Kalyan Kendra, an NGO in association with Asha workers of Demow Primary Health Centre at Demow Junior College.

On the occasion a procession was taken out from the Demow Junior College and in the procession the teachers and students of Demow Junior College, members of Bhagya Lakshmi Anchalik Sishu Kalyan Kendra, an NGO, and Asha workers of Demow Primary Health Centre took part with banners and placards. They shouted various slogans to make people aware about AIDS.

An awareness meeting was also organized in Demow Junior College which was presided over by Jitul Senchowa, Principal of Demow Junior College.
