Prohibitory orders clamped

SHILLONG, Nov 2:  The District Magistrate of Ri Bhoi has imposed a Prohibitory Order under Section 144 CrPC prohibiting all uuthorized persons, middlemen along with their private vehicles from stationing and loitering in and around the Umling Integrated Checkgate. Diversion of coal trucks away from the desigted route viz. tiol Highway-40 shall be deem illegal and any violators shall be prosecuted under the relevant section of the law.
