Prominent businessman passes away

GOLAGHAT (Dhekial), Feb 1: Former chairman of Golaghat Municipality Board and renowned businessman of Golaghat, Ajit Baruah breathed his last on Wednesday morning. He was 75. Baruah was the founder of Golaghat Jatiya Vidyalaya and associated with various organizations. He was also actively involved in social activities.  He leaves behind his wife, two daughters and a host of relatives and well-wishers. The death of Baruah has been widely mourned in Golaghat. A large number of mourners, including family friends, prominent citizens and social workers visited the bereaved family to extend their condolences.
