Promising chess players felicitated

GUWAHATI, Feb 13: Nine promising young chess players of Guwahati, who brought laurel to Guwahati Chess Association by winning medal in 40th All Assam Inter District Chess Championship-2016 (Junior), were felicitated by Guwahati Chess Association yesterday. The function was held at the Rajbari Athletic Club. The players who were felicitated in the function are Arubh Gohain of Maria’s Public School, (Champion Under-15 Boys), Himashree Deka of Gurukul Graamar School (Champion, Under-15, Girls), Manthan Kashyap Dutta  of Delhi Public School (Third Position Under-13, Boys), Ashvin Sharma of Sarala Birla Gyan Jyoti School ,(Fourth Position Under-13, Boys), Adreeja Sinha of rengi Army Public School, (Second Position Under-13, Girls), Rishita Sinha of St. Mary’s English School, (Third Position Under-13, Girls), Medha Baruah of SFS School (Fourth Position Under-13, Girls), Baibhabi Baruah of SFS School (Champion, Under-9, Girls) and Fahim N H Borah of Don Bosco School, (Third Position, Under-9 Boys) are felicitated for their dazzling performance in in 40th All Assam Inter District Chess Championship-2016 (Junior).
