Promode Gogoi memorial debate competition in Sivasagar

SIVASAGAR, April 3: With a view to keep alive the memory of CPI leader late Promode Gogoi and to make aware the new generation about his contributions in the field of socio-economic and politics, the Janeta Promode Chandra Gogoi Smriti Surakshya Samity is going to organize a debate competition on April 6 at Sibsagar Commerce College auditorium here. The competition will be held in two categories—A and B. Category A is for the students of class VIII to X and will be held on the topic ‘Bookish Knowledge Cannot be the only Tool for Evaluating Knowledge Base’. Category B for the students of class twelve to degree kevel will be held on the topic ‘Rising Ethnic Consciousness has Weakened the Equality and Harmony of Assam.’
