Tezpur, March 1: The workers of the Sonitpur District RSS, assisted by the Tezpur
chapter of BJP Yuba Marcha and Tezpur garik Mancha, on Wednesday protested against the alleged atrocities on RSS activists by CPM workers in Kerala.
Besides many protestors, former MLA of Tezpur, Rajen Barthakur, State Spokesperson of BJP, Ritubaran Sharma, district president of BJP (Sonitpur-West), Mril Saikia and Ranjib Sharma, convener, RSS, Assam, took part in the protest.
Coming down heavily on the alleged atrocities upon the RSS workers and even killing of several RSS workers in Kerela by the CPM workers, Ranjib Sharma alleged that till date more than 250 RSS workers had been killed by the CPM workers backed by the Kerala government. “It is a deep-rooted conspiracy to finish the RSS workers. People from every walk of life are now losing faith in the CPM. So they are getting frustrated and are involved in killing or perpetrating atrocity upon the RSS workers. Besides this, the CPM workers have been trying to demoralize the Hindus,” he alleged.
He urged the Government of India to intervene in the issue. Later, the protestors submitted a memorandum to the President of India demanding quick intervention on the issue.
