Protest by Anganwadi workers and helpers

DEMOW, Feb 3: The All Assam Anganwadi Workers and Helpers Association launched a demonstration in front of the Demow Child Development Office on Thursday and it will conclude on Saturday. The demonstration has been organized under the leadership of Prati Dutta, president and Anju Dowarah Konwar, general secretary of All Assam Anganwadi Workers and Helpers Association, in protest against the reduction of fund by the Central Government in the budget for the Social Welfare Department. Regarding this, a memorandum was submitted to the Prime Minister by the All Assam Anganwadi Workers and Helpers Association on Friday.
