Public meeting held by AASAA

DULIAJAN, November 23: A public meeting was held on November 22 at the Pakaline playgound of Lengrijan Tea Estate. The meeting was organized under the aegis of harkatia and Duliajan anchalik committees of All Adivasi Students’ Association of Assam (AASAA). The aims and objective of the meeting were elaborated by Rustam Kujur, general secretary of Dibrugarh district committee of AASAA, where John Lakra, former secretary of AASAA, Manuj Urang and Jitan Urang , presidents of both the anchalik committees of AASAA along with local people were present. In the meeting, they discussed how to make the mass conference which will be held on November 29 at the premises of Tiloy gar rural market in Moran regarding Scheduled Tribe (ST) status to the Adivasi community, successful.
