Pul calls on Governor

ITAGAR, March 12: Aruchal Pradesh Chief Minister Kalikho Pul called on the Governor JP Rajkhowa at Raj Bhavan, here on Friday night.

In the first ‘one to one’ privilege meeting after induction of ministers in the State Cabinet, the Governor felicitated the Chief Minister with ‘Team Aruchal’ lapel pin and Governor’s pen for the new inning with his Cabinet Ministers.

He expressed his hope that under dymic leadership of Pul, the State will touch new heights of development and prosperity.

Rajkhowa advised the CM to take all precautions and measures to ensure fruits of development reach to the poorest of the poor and sense of security and participation prevails amongst the people in the State, a Raj Bhawan communiqué informed here today.

He appreciated Pul for expediting the process of improvement in road communication particularly in State Capital. He wished that the work of progress and development spreads all over the State and corruption is eradicated.

The Governor also shared his experiences in the recent district tour. He called for sincere and dedicated approach to address the challenges in health and education sectors and at the same time to harness the tourism potential of the State, particularly adventure and wildlife.

Assuring the governor that State Cabinet will work as a ‘Team’, the CM briefed him on the initiatives and steps taken by the State government.

Pul also briefed him on the future course of actions in the special priority areas of his government, while also assuring to continue the initiative of the Governor towards eradication of corruption from the State, the communiqué added.
