Ra Kafle receives Sahitya Shree honorary award

Diphu, September 23: Ra Kafle, a renowned writer from Tumpreng Mugasang of West Karbi Anglong district, was awarded the Sahitya Shree honorary award and the Srimati Rameshwardevi Shivkumar Shashtri Smrity Samman, 2016 by the Sahitya Mandal for his book Bhay. Ra was awarded recently at the function ‘Hindi Lao Desh Bachao’ on the occasion of Hindi Divas recently held at Srithdwara, Rajasthan. He received a letter, Rs 2,100 in cash and was felicitated with Mewadi pagadi and shawl. Ra Kafle has won half a dozen honorary awards at the tiol level from various organizations for his book Bhay.
