Raax Mahotsav underway at Tangla

TANGLA, Nov 8: Along with other parts of the State, people, irrespective of colour, caste, creed and religion, participated in the Raax Mahotsav which got underway on November 4 in Tangla. The 64th edition of Raax Mahotsav at Tangla Noipara, Kukurakata will conclude on November 10. The Tangla Noipara Sarvajanik Raax Puja Committee, which is the oldest in the town established way back in 1954, has taken the initiative. The whole area has been lit up with electrified gates and sophisticated lightning devices. Various religious and cultural programmes, including am-kirtan, have been organized.
