Guwahati, April 23: With the conclusion of the meeting of the State Security Commission on Monday, the race has begun for the new DGP of State. DGP Mukesh Sahay will retire on April 30. Those in the race for the top police post in the State include IPS officers RM Singh, AP Rawat, Kuladhar Saikia, Pallab Bhattacharyya and AK Jha. The Chief Minister will take the final call on the matter, sources said.
