Raghu targets fil round berth

GUWAHATI, Jan 3: Raghu ndi, the newly appointed coach of Assam Santosh Trophy team, today said that his first target would be to take the team to the main round of the championship. Talking to the media person this evening ndi, who earlier coached Bengal in the same championship said," I have learnt that the boys are technically sound but their finishing are not upto the mark. First I will see the players for few days and thereafter I will chalk out details plan for the championship. Initially  I want to see my team through the fil round of the meet."

The trial cum selection camp of the state probables got under way today at Morigaon. The North East Leg of the championship will also be held in the same venue from January 18. Assam are placed in group ’A’ along with Aruchal Pradesh, galand and Manipur.
