Raising Day celebrated by Sashastra Seema Bal (SSB) in Sarupathar

SARUPATHAR: The 68th Battalion of Sashastra Seema Bal (SSB) celebrated its 4th Raising Day recently at Battalion campus, of Chetiagaon in Ghulapani along Assam-Nagaland border. Dr P Uday Praveen, Subdivisional officer (civil) (SDO) of Dhansiri Subdivision was present as a chief guest on the occasion.

Pranjit Kr Deb, the border magistrate of Dhansiri Subdivision was also present on the occasion. The celebration began with the impressive guard of honour. Moreover, the second commandant of 68th SSB Battalion Rajesh Singh congratulated all the Battalion personnel on the auspicious occasion. He emphasized the need for undoubted commitment towards work to provide better services to the nation and its citizens. This was followed by some games for the amusement of the troops. The chief guest interacted with all the troops and officers of 68th Battalion, SSB during the occasion.
