Rajiv Gandhi University signs MoU with School of Planning and Architecture

RONO HILL, (DOIMUKH): A Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) on Tuesday was signed between Rajiv Gandhi University (RGU) and the School of Planning and Architecture (SPA), Bhopal for a collaborative endeavour towards cooperation in research and education. The MoU was signed by the Vice-Chancellor of Rajiv Gandhi University Prof Saket Kushwaha and Prof N Sridharan, School of Planning and Architecture (SPA), Bhopal.

The MoU aims at providing new avenues for access and sharing and developing technical know-how between the two organizations. The RGU VC termed it as a welcome step and expressed his optimism that the MoU will be action oriented and result yielding. In the sideline of the signing of the MoU, Director SPA said a time framed and evaluation-based performance will be executed jointly with the start of a planned awareness programme in the near future.

He has also agreed to take at least two students from RGU for internship in SPA. RGU’s Registrar in-charge Prof Tomo Riba, Controller of Examination in-charge Dr Nani Tamang Jose and Joint Registrar (Academic & Conference) Dr David Pertin and Dr Sourabh Tewari, Assistant Professor in Design from SPA also spoke on the importance of the joint venture. Among others, RGU’s Deans and Heads of Departments and officers witnessed the signing of the MoU.
