Rajjakuddin Ahmed hits ton, huge victory for Bhaben Dwaka Memorial Tezpur Cricket Coaching Centre

GUWAHATI: A brilliant ton from Rajjakuddin Ahmed guided Bhaben Dwaka Memorial Tezpur Cricket Coaching Centre (BDMTCCC) a huge 194 runs victory over Sakti Sangha in the champion round match of Assam Premier Club Cricket League tie at the ACA stadium, Guwahati today. Elected to bat, BDMTCCC piled up huge 334 in 50 overs losing all wickets. Rajjak was in fine touch today and took only 58 balls to score 128 runs. There were five boundaries and 13 over boundaries, may be record in this meet, in his innings. Diptesh Saha (44), Anurag Talukdar (42) and Roshan Basfore (40) were the other major contributors. Among the bowlers of Sakti Sangha Utpal Gayari (4-48) came out with best figure.

In reply Sakti Sangha managed to score 140-9 (All out) in 42 overs. The top scorer in the innings was Abhijit Roy (36). Sidhartha Sarma, Zuned Ansari and Roshan Basfore picked up two wickets each for the winning outfit. Tomorrow’s match: Sakti Sangha vs NSSA, Karimganj.
