Rajkummar Tries to Woo Shraddha in the Romantic Track of 'Nazar Na Lag Jaaye'

For the first time, two brilliant Bollywood actors Rajkummar Rao and Shraddha Kapoor are pairing up onscreen in the upcoming horror-comedy Stree. Stree is directed by Amar Kaushik and produced by Dinesh Vijan and Raj & DK.

The film has become the talk of the town after the release of its trailer and earlier, the promotional song Milegi Milegi, sung by Mika Singh, made everyone tap their feet. And then came Nora Fatehi’s Kamariya which made everyone super into belly dancing. And now the makers have released another song of the film and it is titled Nazar Na Lag Jaaye.

Nazar Na Lag Jaaye is a soulful and romantic track sung by melodious Ash King & Sachin Jigar. The song has been composed by Sachin himself, and it was shot in beautiful locations. Rajkummar Rao took to Twitter to share the song and wrote “Pehla Pyaar bahut keemti hota hai, buri nazar se bachaake rakhna! #NazarNaLagJaaye out now.”

The song features Rajkummar trying to woo Shraddha as they go out, spending time at a mela. Further, it shows how they both enjoy the fun fair, play a few games and even shop from there. Nazar Na Lag Jaaye has an old world charisma to it and Rajkummar’s displays clowning around as he falls helplessly in love with Shraddha. Their chemistry is unmissable in the song and the beautiful track adds to its perfect setting.

The film Stree, as the makers have revealed is based on a ‘ridiculously true phenomenon.’ Also I the film is about the ‘Nale Ba‘ incident that happened in Karnataka in the 90’s. However, the makers seem to have done some changes in the legend as it’s known otherwise and the trailer of the film looks fascinating.

The film is produced by Dinesh Vijan under his banner Maddock Film Production in association with D2r films and Jio Studios. Stree is written by Raj Nidimoru and Krishna D.K. And the film it is all set to release on August 31st.

Well, now the newly dropped song might just become the romantic tune of the season!
