Ramani Gavoru Award for Sanjukta Parashar

JOYSAGAR, April 3: IPS officer Sanjukta Parashar has been chosen for the prestigious Ramani Gavoru award by the executive committee of the Ramani Gavoru Award Conferring Society of Simaluguri, Sivasagar district, for the year 2018. Sanjukta Parashar has served the country with utmost dedication and in doing so, she faced many dangers. The award will be formally conferred to her on May 12 on the occasion of Kenduguri Regiol Bohagi Utsav Celebration, 2018 in Simaluguri town of Sivasagar. Besides, the society also decided to confer the Adarsh Krishak Award to Dr. Jagadish Barman for 2018. Dr. Barman as a government veteriry doctor has taken a bold initiative to start a milk revolution in zira and Simaluguri by setting up many milk production farms, thereby involving hundreds of educated unemployed youth in this farms.
