Rameswar Teli clinches victory defeating Paban Singh Ghatowar by a margin of more than three lakh votes

Guwahati: BJP candidate Rameswar Teli secures a notable victory over his opponent Paban Singh Ghatowar and thus, win the Dibrugarh Lok Sabha seat. Dibrugarh, which happened to be the Former constituency of Assam CM Sarbananda Sonowal, did not disappoint the party and hence, although the candidate changed, the winning party remained the same.

Teli secured a total of 6,32,147 votes in contrary to which the Congress candidate Paban Singh Ghatowar could collect 2,86,875 votes only.
