Rape accused nabbed

JOYSAGAR, May 18: One Dilip Tamuli (45) of Charing Duwarapara under Gaurisagar Police Station of Sivasagar district was arrested on Thursday on charge of sexual harassment of a minor girl of the same area. As per information, the accused allegedly raped a minor girl on May 15. Later, according to the complaint filed by the victim’s parents, Gaurisagar police had registered a case bearing No-363/376/(2/1)/RW/18/POCSO and arrested the accused.
