Rapist Nabbed In Guwahati Railway Station

Bongaigaon: After 20 days of investigation, Chirang Police nabbed a rapist who was hiding since long.

Ishan Narzary (65) from Amguri area of Chirang, who had allegedly raped a 12-year old girl of his village, was nabbed by Chirang Police from Guwahati Railway Station on Friday night.

Talking to the media, Prakash Medhi, SDPO, Bijni said that police followed him from Mokoksang area of Nagaland and finally nabbed him in Guwahati railway station. “We produced him in the court today and sent him to jail,” he said.
