Guwahati: All India Congress Committee (AICC) releases their first list of candidates for the upcoming Lok Sabha Election, 2019 on March 15.

As per a press release by AICC, the Central Election Committee of the party has selected the following candidates for the ensuing elections to the Lok Sabha from the seats. In Assam, Swarup Das will be contesting for the polls from Karimganj (SC). Similarly, Sushmita Dev will be contesting from Silchar, Former Chief Minister Tarun Gogoi’s son Gaurav Gogoi will be contesting from Kaliabor, Sushanta Borgohain from Jorhat, Paban Singh Ghatowar from Dibrugarh.

As per the AICC list, From Meghalaya, Vincent H Pala will be contesting from Shillong-ST and Former Chief Minister of Meghalaya Dr. Mukul M Sangma will be contesting from Tura-ST. From Nagaland, K. L Chishi will contest from Nagaland and Bharat Barnett from Sikkim.
