Real Madrid Preparing an offer to sign Reinier

Rio de Janeiro: Spanish giants Real Madrid are preparing an offer to sign highly-rated Flamengo teenager Reinier, according to Brazilian media reports.

The reigning European champions are willing to invest almost 70 million euros to secure the 17-year-old Flamengo midfielder on a long-term deal, the Globo Esporte news outlet reported on Friday as quoted by Xinhua news agency.

Reinier has also attracted the interest of Liverpool, Paris Saint-Germain, Arsenal and Manchester City, according to the report.

Reinier, who is contracted with the Rio de Janeiro club until 2021, has been capped four times for Brazil's U-17 team, scoring two goals.

Real Madrid currently have three Brazilians in their first-team squad: left-back Marcelo, midfielder Casemiro and forward Vinicius Junior. IANS
