Recruitment drive to fill vacant posts in police department

lbari, April 27: lbari district police started a recruitment drive on April 1 and it will continue till May 7. Through this recruitment drive, the district police intends to fill up posts lying vacant in the lbari police department. Police sources said that physical standard test (PST) and physical examition test had been conducted among 1,00,500 candidates.  Around 169 vacant posts will be filled up soon after the interview. SP lbari, Dr Bedanta Madhav Rajkhowa is supervising the interview process so that there are no anomalies. He also instructed all officials to be sincere in conducting physical and written tests in order to recruit eligible candidates. He said that the selection of candidates would be on merit basis and added that there would be 10 per cent reservation for female candidates.
