Red Horns Division joins the global celebration of World Environment Day in Sipajhar, Darrang

MANGALDAI: Synchronizing with the global celebration of World Environment Day, the unit of Red Horns Division conducted a plantation drive at Bordolguri Lower. Primary School in Sipajhar area of Darrang district, Darrang District. The drive was attended by students, teachers and civil government officials.

It was aimed at stimulating the students by making them aware about the dangers of deforestation and making them conscious about the individual responsibility each citizen has in preserving and enhancing the environment and for making a safe future. This plantation drive was a call to students to be an effective agent of environmental issues. In the end, a pledge was also taken to save our environment.
