Reshuffle in Assam Government Administration

GUWAHATI: The Assam Government on Monday transferred senior IAS officer SS Meenakshi Sundaram from the post of Secretary of Social Welfare Department as the secretary of Guwahati Development Department, Urban Development Department and Assam State Capital Region Development Authority. The government has also effected a few other reshuffles by posting some other IAS officers in different designations, including Nitin Kumar Shivdas as Secretary in Finance Department, Debeswar Malakar as the Director in Social Welfare Department, Vinod Seshan as Secretary in Information Technology & Science Department and Rakesh Kumar as the Secretary of Irrigation Department.
