Rice distributed to poor by Lions club of Dhubri

DHUBRI: Lions club of Dhubri distributed rice packets weighing 5 kg each to hundreds of poor people and priest under the Lions Rice Bag Challenge on the occasion of Melvin Jones Birthday, Bihu celebration, Lohri & Makkar Sankranti at its Lions Service Centre on Wednesday.

For humanitarian reasons, Lion President Suresh Kumar Harlalka, Sanjay Kumar Sethia, Lion B.Bajaj, J.M.Surana, Rohit Tantia, Nirupom Chandra Ghosh, Leo member Rajat Agarwal, Nitesh Patwari, Ankit Maloo, Nikita Harlalka and other members volunteered to serve the needy families. Lion President Suresh Kumar Harlalka expressed gratitude and appreciated the generosity to the members who selflessly donate to various welfare works and projects that benefit the weaker and poverty-stricken people of the society.
