Rice under PHH and AAY released

Shillong, April 13: The Deputy Commissioner (Supply), East Khasi Hills district has informed the public consumers that rice under NFSA 2013 for Priority House Holds (PHH) and Antyodaya Anna Yojana (AAY) for the month of March and April 2018 have been released and will be distributed through the respective Fair Price Shops.  This has been stated in a press release. Rice under AAY will be distributed at the scale of 70 kgs per card @ Rs 3 per kg and PHH at the scale of 10 kgs per head @ Rs 3 per kg, both combined for two months. Any non-supply or overcharging of rate and supply of inferior quality of rice by the fair price shop dealers should be brought to the notice of the Deputy Commissioner (Supply), East Khasi Hills District, Shillong, the release added.
