Rising cases of road mishaps on a single day

SHILLONG, July 8: There were three accidents reported across the state on July 7, 2018. In the first case collision between two trucks at Bajengdoba resulted in 17-year female Chonsil Marak getting injured. Rari based 108 ambulance shifted the injured to Tura Civil Hospital. In another case a pedestrian 24-year old female Daia Lygkhoi was hit by a bike near Sunny Hills in Shillong. The injured was shifted to Civil hospital Shillong. Another road accident pertained to collision between two Maruti Alto cars as reported from Thangshalai. The injured Hemant Kumar (45) was shifted to Mawryngkneng PHC. The night of July 7 also witnessed two cases of suicide attempts but being saved by timely intervention of 108 Emergency Response Center.
