Road blockade

JOYSAGAR, Feb 17: Around 200 women blocked the tiol Highway-37 at Lahingia in Sivasagar district demanding immediate repair of the road connecting to the village from the highway. Locals said that the condition of the road turned deplorable due to heavy vehicle belonging to ONGC plying on the road to a drilling rig. The residents have demanded the ONGC to take steps for repair of the road.
